How to Bindind a Book ?

Step 1: Assemble the book pages

Fold each sheet of paper to be assembled into a book. Open one of the folded sheets and slide the second sheet inward, slide the third sheet into the second sheet, and continue until all the sheets are inside the first sheet.

Step 2: Add a cover

Place heavy cover paper on the folded paper. Use scissors to trim any overhanging edges on the page.

Step 3: Find the binding point

Open the book. Use the pencil to place a dot in the middle of the center polyline. Add two more points to the crease, one on each side of the center point, and each point is approximately halfway between the center point and the edge of the page.

Step 4: Make holes in the threads

Use the awl to make a hole in all the paper at each point.

Step 5: Sewing

Thread the staple with a few feet of wax. From the side of the book's cover, push the needle through the center hole, leaving a few inches of thread on the outside.
