How To Use Wire Calendar Hangers
We'll be using the Akiles WireMac and the Akiles Diamond 1 Corner Rounder with the semicircle die and support tables installed. First we die cut the notch for the hanger along the center of the binding edge. On the wire punch we'll disengage the 2 center pins. Then we punch our sheets and covers. Position the wire in the machine's holder and thread the inside pages first, then the front cover. At this point I like to insert the hanger followed by the back cover so that it is pinched or held in place for the closing of the wire. Crimp the calendar in your wire closer. The last step is to cut away the center section of the wire with a pair of wire cutting pliers so that the hook can to rotate freely. And that's all there is to it.
